Making a Woolen Cloak

The concept is simple.

I want a cloak.

Y'know why?

They're better in every way. Easier to make than cloaks, still keep you warm, less weak points, can be made of more rigid material because you don't need sleeves, and the structure of a cloak is better for making armor. Plus if you have one big enough you can sorta use it as a makeshift tent.

Problem: fabric is expensive. And crafting bolts are often super narrow, so I'd have to panelize my design.

The solution: thrift store wool blankets.

Inexpensive, wide, plenty of wear from usage, perfect for making thick warm cloaks.

The Plan

I'm going to buy, like, a big wool blanket and dye it red. Next step is to cut a big circle out of it and make a neck hole before attaching a hood of some sort. Probably also gonna add a weighted hem.

End result is warm and cozy and I'll probably embroider on some chozo runes or something.
