Arch Linux is ASS
You may be a touch flabbergasted by the title of this page. No worries, if you actually get use out of Arch, that's great for you
I can't even get Arch to install on my device.
I've got an old HP TouchSmart 610 that I'm trying to turn into a server.
I decided that, since I like terminals and I might as well make my system pretty, that I should instal Arch.
Nothing wrong with a little challenge that requires some tinkering, right?
Probably not surprising, but I was wrong.
I have done everything to try and make NTP sync work. I have done everything to make Keyring sync work.
It won't.
I even tried CachyOS.
It looked promising. The installer ran and completed!
I reboot the machine, input my password...
Blank screen with a flashing underscore in the corner.
No more of this nonsense for me, I'm going to try Mint.
